Velicham's 55 Days Tamilnadu level Awareness Campaign
Velicham Started the 55 Days Tamilnadu level Awareness Campaign for Poor Student's Higher Studies and to Prevent the Students Commiting suicide. This Campaign inagurated by the Respected Tamilnadu DGP(Law and Order), Ms.LETHIKA SHARAN, IPS on July 15th 2010 at Chennai.
Velicham students traveled all over the Districts in Tamilnadu to give awareness campaign among the poor students through culutural performance, issuing handbits and posters and encouraged the students by their motivational talks. They also prevented 63 Poor students from committing Suicide by special counselling.
More than 23,000 help seeking Calls came from all over tamilnadu to the Velicham's helpline number during this campaign.
This campaign successfully ends in Bharathi Womens college, Chennai on Septemper 9th, 2010
